Technical fabrics:
glass fabric – good thermal resistance, temperature resistance from 400 to 700 °C (high-temperature glass)
ceramic fabric – very good heat resistance (up to 1260 °C)
Silicate fabric – very good heat resistance (up to 1000 °C), very good insulation properties
Aramid fabric – temperature resistance of 250 °C and excellent mechanical properties
Chrome-nickel, heat resistant mesh – high temperature resistance, the load-bearing and stabilization layer
Mentioned above fabrics may be coated with the following materials:
Silicone (MVQ) – good tightness, thermal resistance of 300 °C
Rubber (EPDM) – Good tightness and chemical resistance
Rubber (FPM) – very good chemical resistance in the temperature range of 200 °C
PTFE – very good chemical resistance in the temperature range up to 250 °C
Thermal insulation materials used on the pads:
Mineral wool – basic material used in medium and high temperatures
Ceramic wool and silicate mat – materials used in high and very high temperatures
